Introducing Our 2026 Camp Staff

We are so excited to start introducing our staff for this upcoming season ✨

First up — meet Lauren, one of our camp counselors who will be living in the cabins with campers this summer!

Lauren is a recent University of Vermont graduate who feels fulfilled when spending time with kids and being outside. She enjoys going on long hikes and runs, cooking, and reading. Lauren is looking forward to swimming, playing games, and having impromptu dance parties at camp. She is excited to meet all the campers and to spend her first summer in Maine!

We feel so lucky to have Lauren joining us and can’t wait for campers to get to know her 💛

Next up, meet Emily – our Cook & Gardener for the summer! Emily just graduated from the University of Vermont and moved to the farm this past weekend to start getting the gardens and kitchen ready for campers to arrive 🌱 This is her first summer at Growing Routes, and she couldn’t be more excited to cook delicious, nourishing food for our campers and staff.

Emily loves sharing meals and adventures with friends. In her free time, she enjoys long trail runs, swimming, camping, and crafting. She is especially excited to get to know each camper while baking wild blueberry crumble together this summer… 🫐

We are so excited to have Emily here and can’t wait for all the creative meals and magical garden experiences ahead ✨
