Life at Camp
Summer camp is full of magical moments—whether it’s that first laugh with your cabin mates, excited shivers before an early morning dip in the lake, or the taste of a perfectly cooked s’more. The friendships, skills, and confidence built here last a lifetime.
Founded in 2006 and now in our 21st season!
Camp Chloë at Twigg Farm is intentionally small, with just 8–20 campers per session, creating a relaxed, family-like atmosphere where each camper feels seen, valued, and included.
Our days are full, but never rushed—leaving space for spontaneity, curiosity, and the magic of in-between moments. Campers help shape their experience, from deciding on activities to planning meals with ingredients harvested from our gardens. In doing so, they build confidence, empathy, and a sense of responsibility that grows naturally from daily life together.
Every day at Camp Chloë is different. We balance exciting adventures with time to rest and slow down; community with independence; laughter with quiet reflection—helping campers learn to move between them with ease.
Activities & Adventures
Each day offers something new, from wide-open play to guided art exploration and grounded connection with the land.
Activities may include (but aren’t limited to!):
Swimming at our private lakefront beach
Canoeing, hiking, and nature walks
Gardening and harvesting fresh fruits, veggies, herbs, and flowers
Cooking and baking together (including homemade ice cream!)
Arts & crafts, music, and journaling
Group games, scavenger hunts, and challenges
Camper-led projects, experiments, and spontaneous adventures
Yoga, ultimate frisbee, dance, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and more
Learning outdoor skills, sitting by the campfire, and stargazing
Here, kids try new things not to compete, but to discover what brings them joy and pride.
A Day at Camp
No two days are the same, but they follow a gentle rhythm that keeps campers grounded while leaving room for surprises. An example day:
Morning → Optional early swim, breakfast, morning contributions, group adventure (like a hike, paddle, or scavenger hunt), swimming & canoeing
Afternoon → Lunch, rest time, arts and crafts, games outside, harvest produce from garden for dinner, free time, showers
Evening → Shared meal, campfire with s’mores, evening activity, quiet time to read before lights out
Each day is full of excitement but never rushed—balanced with plenty of space for camper ideas and spontaneous joy.
