Throughout the summer, campers help plant, harvest, and care for the vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers that make their way onto our tables. The gardens provide hands-on opportunities for kids to connect with the earth, learn where their food comes from, and experience the joy of growing something themselves.

We also welcome community members who would like to help care for these gardens throughout the growing season. Whether you are an experienced gardener or a novice simply looking to spend some time outside, volunteering is a great way to support camp while getting your hands in the dirt and enjoying the beauty of Twigg Farm!

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting

  • General help maintaining vegetable, herb, and flower gardens

  • Assisting with seasonal garden projects

  • Sharing gardening knowledge and skills with campers when appropriate

Volunteers are invited to join us on the farm on a regular schedule, or help out occasionally as your availability allows.
